All purchases of The Hairy Pill® treatment are final. This is because the treatment contains personalised prescription medication/s. Once they’re packaged for you, they cannot legally be used for another patient.
Due to regulations, medicines (both general and prescription in nature, including any medication that is taken orally) cannot be returned or reused and won’t be refunded.

Why can’t I return my treatment?
Our pharmacy’s regulations prohibit the return of prescription medications for reimbursement. This means that we are unable to accept returns of treatment for refunds, even if it is unused.
In accordance with Australian law, pharmaceutical medication cannot be returned for credit or refund, except when it is a condition of a consumer-level medication recall.
Strict legislative controls are in place to regulate the storage of medicines in pharmacy environments. Once the medication has left the pharmacy, the storage conditions of the medication cannot be guaranteed and it is possible the product could be tampered with.
Because of this, we cannot accept the return of any dispensed pharmaceutical products. Furthermore, as the compound is made for each individual, once bottled, it can’t be sold to anyone else.
Like any prescription you would get from a pharmacy (such as antibiotics), you cannot return it once it leaves the pharmacy.
When can I get a refund?
We do offer full refunds. They are offered in the following instances:
- Change of mind (after the initial purchase, before pharmacy counsel)
- After pharmacy counsel, before the product is compounded and dispatched
- Non-approved cases following initial doctor assessment
- Cancellation of subscription, before the product is compounded and dispatched
Change of mind
We’ll provide you with a full refund if you change your mind before your first bottle of medication is produced and dispatched by the pharmacist. You’ll receive a full refund for the purchase price in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Non-approved cases
We’ll provide you with a full refund if a partner doctor denies you for the hair loss treatment after review, the first time you register. You’ll receive a full refund for the purchase price in Australian Dollars (AUD).
After pharmacy council
We’ll provide you with a full refund if you decide not to continue once you speak with the pharmacist (and after doctor approval) but before your treatment has been produced and dispatched by the pharmacist. You’ll receive a full refund for the purchase price in Australian Dollars (AUD).
How long do refunds take to be processed?
If your refund is approved, it can take up to 10 business days to be completed.
